Recipe by CuddleChunks Wikified by Drimble Wedge

  • 4 cups Instant oatmeal, dry
  • 1/2 cup Butter (1 stick)
  • 2 cups White sugar
  • 5 Tbs Cocoa powder (Hershey's Dark)
  • 1 Tbs Instant espress powder
  • 1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Water

Pour the oatmeal into a large metal mixing bowl and set aside. Add the butter, cocoa and peanut butter into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until it melts. Add water and sugar and stir until smooth. Heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for at least 30 seconds. Watch the back of your mixing spoon to see when the sugar granules have dissolved then remove from heat. Pour over oatmeal and stir to combine. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Cool in the fridge for 20 minutes or so. Store in your fat face. Makes approximately 2 dozen cookies.
