Lentil Burgers

Lentil burgers are absolutely amazing, and you can vary how quickly you make them. I like a flexible recipe better, but if you google lentil burger recipes it'll come up awful quickly. Here's what I do if I want to do it quick-like:
- 1 can pre-cooked lentils
- 1 onion (I usually use white)
- 3 hot peppers (I use habanero, but not everyone likes them)
- Breadcrumbs (you can make these easily on your own, google it!)
- Sriracha (optional, I like my food spicy)
- Seasoning, to taste (I use coriander, garlic, paprika and white and black pepper)
Food processor, saucepan, frying pan
Warm the lentils up in a saucepan, and dice the onion. If you're not huge into onions, you can just use half. Do the same for the hot peppers. Mix them in with the lentils, and let everything warm up. Dump into food processor, pulse until it's like a paste (but if you want to leave a little texture you can). Now, mix in the breadcrumps, 1/2 cup at a time until you get a consistency exactly like ground beef. And it really will be exactly like ground beef, it's fantastic. Then, just fry them up in a little bit of olive oil and put them on a bun with whatever fixings you like. If you're not vegan, I highly suggest a little bit of fat free sour cream in place of mayo, it's really really good. Hope this helps :)
