I used this recipe with the following british measurements and had good results (yes, I think every discussion page should have something like this listed!);
- 19 oz (1lb 3oz) plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 250ml veg oil (just under)
- 8 oz butter
- 8 oz brown sugar
- 8 oz white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2-3 tsp vanilla
- 950ml chocolate chips
