I normally suck at cooking but this is one of the few decent things I can make. It's pretty simple, too, and should well into your lazy lifestyle.

Ingredients:[edit]

  • 1 pound (or box) of dry ziti pasta
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 2 (26 ounce) jars of spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 lb of sliced provologne cheese
  • 8 oz of sour cream
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Oregano, basil, black pepper

Optional: Sugar

Method[edit]

First, chop up your onion...

...and brown it with the beef in a pan over medium/medium high heat. Add oil if necessary.

In the meantime, start boiling some water in a pot for the ziti. Throw in some salt and oil.

That looks just about done.

Pasta is just about done.

Once the beef and onion are browned, drain it and reduce heat to low. You can leave as much as you like in if you want to keep some flavor going. Toss in the sauce, pepper, oregano, basil, and sugar. I used regular Ragu sauce with nothing in it. Any of that special Ragu shit sucks. I like to put sugar in because in my opinion, most sauces you get out of a can or jar are too salty for my taste, and this evens it out a little.

Let that simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.

Once your pasta is done, drain the water and put half of it in a pan. I used an aluminum pan here because the largest dish I have won't hold all of the stuff we're about to throw in. It makes clean up easier, too, since you can just toss it when you've eaten it all. Start off by putting only half the ziti in the pan.

Next, spread out the sour cream.

Then throw on the provologne.

Then half the sauce.

Then finish it off by putting on the rest of the pasta, the rest of the sauce, the mozzarella, and the parmesan, in that order. Put as much cheese on top as you like.

Put the pan in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. While that's going, clean up the kitchen you lazy fuck.

The finished product!

Serve with some sort of bread. Note that I didn't even bother cutting mine. I WAS HUNGRY OK

I thought putting sour cream in ziti was a little strange, but it really makes or breaks it, in my opinion. The best part about this is that it tastes even better if you let it sit in the fridge for a day and heat some up later. I guess I'm covered for lunch for the rest of the week
